Freshly roasted coffee beans cooling after a batch

SMALL BATCHES, CLEAR NOTES, NO SHORTCUTS

I set up Arome Coffee to do things at a size I can control. Every batch is roasted in small quantities, tasted before it ships, and described in plain language.

Based in Cluj, I sell my beans online and host guided tastings at the roastery — two ways to enjoy the same coffee, depending on the day.

WHEN THE ROASTER IS OFF I AM USUALLY SHARING A CUP WITH SOMEONE CURIOUS

Roasting in Cluj means being part of a growing coffee community. I like that my customers are often neighbours, and that a bag of beans can start a conversation.

Most of what I learn about roasting happens away from the machine — cupping side by side, hearing what people taste, and adjusting the next batch accordingly.

  • Ordering online is simple, and I am easy to reach.

What sets my coffee apart is a genuine obsession with freshness

I focus on the craft side of coffee: choosing origins with care, roasting in quantities I can watch closely, and cupping everything before it reaches you.

I run the roastery the way I would want to buy from it — honest descriptions, fresh beans, and tastings that make specialty coffee approachable rather than intimidating.
